Nick co-founded Curation in 2012 because he wanted to solve information overload and had a keen interest in sustainability. Nick is currently charging ahead as Head Gladiator at our newly formed sister company, The Fat Gladiator Investment Club. Prior to this, Nick spent 30 years in capital markets at a number of leading global investment banks. Nick founded and ran his own firm, Execution Limited, which he sold to Espirito Santo Investment Bank in 2011.

Paddy is the Chairman of the Board at Curation. Paddy obtained a Law Degree from the University of Bristol and moved into financial markets in 1999 after a 12-year career as a Barrister. His roles in finance included Global Head of Equity Syndicate for HSBC and Head of EMEA Equities for JPMorgan. Paddy is currently Strategic Planning Director for the UK Tote Group and is on the boards of three education trusts.

Sandy is the CEO of Curation, having previously been its COO for 2 + years. In his role he has been responsible for the rebranding of Curation and the launch of it’s newest offerings: Susst, Susst+ and the soon to launch Curation Academic. Sandy has always believed that content around the umbrella term of ‘Sustainability’ has exceptional value to both individuals and companies alike.
Sandy is a person who truly believes in empowering people to make a change and is an effective mentor both internally and externally for Curation. Having started his career at PWC, Sandy spent a number of years both educating and training all new starters, as well as helping every employee to achieve their potential.
Having come from a family filled with medics, Sandy chose to curate the Healthcare Collections when he first came on board and still has a special interest in Antimicrobial Resistance. He is a published journalist, having written on Energy and Emerging Risks for Energy World and Talk Business respectively.
Sandy spent 18+ years in Morgan Stanley and has lived in Hong Kong where he was Head of Content Development for Equities in Asia. Sandy coordinated all geographical teams to come together and monetize ideas as a whole. Whilst his role as a Global Media and Tech Specialist, he frequently traveled the world and dealt with many different people and cultures. Throughout his career he has consistently managed large teams and built new business ventures from the ground up. In fact he grew the Morgan Stanley Technology Media and Telecom (TMT) Conference from a 180 to 900 person event in just a few years, and as such it still remains the go to TMT corporate access event in Europe.
Sandy studied Engineering and Management Studies at Queens’ College Cambridge and has two children 18 and 13 whom he adores.
Sandy is committed to ethics and non-bias practices and is confident that he can lead Curation to make an impact by informing people that the choices they make can make a difference to the world we not only live in today, but leave to the future of tomorrow.

Lee is the Chief Operating Officer of Curation. Having over 18 years in a global financial institution and three years as COO for alternative investment firms, she is well versed and ready to navigate the start-up road. Her strong client relationships and business knowledge puts Lee in the best position to helm Curation’s growth strategy in the marketplace. Having grown up in Africa, conservation and sustainability have always been issues embedded in her heart and soul. Lee has a strong desire to be able to influence people and organisations to think differently about the world and how we can all collectively preserve it for future generations.

Victoria is Curation’s Chief Commercial Officer. Her job is varied, with responsibilities for sales and marketing as well as inputting into the strategy for the company’s overall direction. Victoria spent 25 years working in capital markets at Morgan Stanley, MF Global and ED&F Man, where she was a Managing Director. Victoria’s interest in sustainability has been present from an early age. Growing up on a farm in the Yorkshire Dales, she is especially interested in sustainable food production and diversity and inclusion. Victoria joined Curation in 2020 to help grow the business and loved the company’s values and vision. Victoria has a degree in Building Engineering

Nick Jardine is Curation’s Chief Content Officer and brings over a decade of editorial experience to the role. Formerly based in New York, he has worked for various business media outlets covering areas including European politics, the music industry, commodities, mutual funds, private debt and wealth management. Prior to joining Curation, he served as Senior Editor for the Fund Intelligence Group and News Editor of PEI Media’s Private Debt Investor. He holds an undergraduate degree in History from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Journalism from Columbia University.

Eleanor is the founder of Foresightfully, a disruptor in the consulting industry bringing both creative and analytical perspectives to business challenges. Eleanor was previously head of The Future Institute at KPMG and an investigator of conduct in both the public and private sector.

As a co-Founder of Curation, Damien has been pivotal in its development, having worked in financial services for over 30 years. He started at Merrill Lynch Capital Markets, before moving to Deutsche Bank, serving as COO of Global Derivatives before co-founding Execution Limited.

Tom is Curation’s CTO, overseeing the development and support of our proprietary technology platform. He brings 13 years’ experience as a web developer to the role and was previously both a content curator and product manager at Curation. Tom originally studied Economic Anthropology at LSE and has been a freelance web developer since the age of 15.

Chris has a 17-year career, specialising in product management, service design and strategy. At Curation, he works alongside the CTO and is responsible for developing our online platform, mobile app and email briefings. Chris works closely with the design and engineering teams on all aspects of product development, from optimising for engagement and prioritising the roadmap, to implementing proprietary machine learning. Prior to Curation, he worked as a strategist for design consultancies, which saw him run projects for clients including The Metropolitan Police, BlackRock, Lloyds Banking Group, Heathrow Airport and Greyhound. A brilliant example of his previous work is the online crime report service on The Metropolitan Police website. Chris is a strategic thinker, who also always remains focused on tactical delivery and input. Additionally, he has the ability to navigate the human dynamics of leading and managing designers, engineers, and stakeholders and bringing them all to the same page – no easy feat!

David Pratt has been Head of Energy since early 2019, managing a team drawn from journalistic and academic backgrounds to deliver insight to Curation’s energy clients. Prior to joining the company, David spent three years covering European low-carbon markets for a range of B2B titles as Deputy Editor at Solar Media. The job held a strong focus on solar and grid integration technology, while David also specialised in e-mobility and energy storage coverage. This role built on his previous role as Deputy Print and Online Editor for Unity Media, in which he added a political focus to the monthly publication’s news output while carrying out high-level interviews and attending industry events.

Marc joined Curation in 2019 to head the growing sustainability team and lead the firm’s content and analysis on ESG, sustainability and climate change. Prior to his time at Curation, Marc spent 10 years writing for and co-editing the Energy Institute’s flagship sustainable energy magazine. Here he covered the energy transition by visiting cutting edge energy projects in Europe and interviewing senior figures from global energy firms, the IPCC and the UNFCCC. He was given an EI Award of Council for his work. Marc also worked at the globally renowned Foster + Partners architects, where he advised on the sustainability of large international projects and produced sustainability content for the Economist and other publications. He has an MSc in Climate Change from the University of East Anglia where he focused on climate change science and policy.

Grace joined Curation as the Operations Analyst in 2020. Grace’s role sees her implementing and improving the governance and operational efficiency of the company. She has been instrumental in helping Curation gain its ISO 9001 certification. Grace studied Spanish and Arabic at the University of St Andrews with an integrated year abroad in Morocco and Uruguay. Grace also interned for the St Andrews Entrepreneurship programme where she assisted the university library’s transition to an online virtual study space in response to Covid-19. Grace has done a course in Python Programming for fun as well as helping out as an events assistant for a committee called Women in Work.

At Curation Henry works on bringing the latest advances in natural-language processing to our platform as a machine learning engineer. Before joining Curation, Henry interned at Talkspace, a platform connecting therapists and patients based in New York, and Sharemob, creators of the popular app My Talking Pet. Henry graduated from Buckingham University studying Computer Science in 2019.

Jack is Curation’s Energy Editor. Jack has more than eight years experience directly in commodities journalism and analysis, having held senior editorial roles at business intelligence companies ICIS Heren and CRU International. Jack has also worked as a market reporter at Euromoney Institutional Investor and as a freelancer for The Oil and Gas Year. Jack graduated from Lancaster University with an upper second class honours degree in English Literature. He studied journalism on Euromoney’s graduate editorial scheme.

James is part of the energy team where he is an Energy Curator specialising in the bioeconomy. He has an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College, where he specialised in energy policy. Through his studies, James developed a strong and robust understanding of the modern energy ecosystem, including markets, technologies and the policy environment. James has since completed further research on bioenergy, including a paper exploring the bioenergy potential of Chile. Through this project he has become well acquainted with the technical, environmental and economical challenges facing the bio-based fuels and products sectors.

Katie is a Sustainability Curator at Curation, focusing on emerging environmental trends and risks and covering subjects relating to climate action, circular economics, responsible consumption and sustainable green cities. Katie is a Liberal Arts graduate of King’s College London, where she majored in Geography, and has previously worked as a journalist at High Profile Club.

Fred read Classical Studies with English at King’s College London. Outside of work he loves cinema, plays the saxophone and does an average impression of Werner Herzog.

Marko wears many hats in his role at Curation, but currently manages accounts as a Sales & Marketing Associate, while also curating on battery technology and the business of football. Marko is a Chemical Engineering graduate from Newcastle University, where he specialised in direct air capture and other carbon negative technologies.

Nicola is the Health Care Curator at Curation and covers a wide range of health care topics. Formerly, Nicola was a researcher, writer and editor at Nicholas Hall Group of Companies. She covered all aspects of consumer health care, with additional experience providing mental health support within the National Health Service. After taking a career break to look after her sons, Nicola studied Psychology at the Open University. Nicola also has real life experience as a nursing assistant, working with older people with mental health issues, like Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias. Her varied career is one of her best assets and gives her a unique perspective on health care.

Phat is a software developer for Curation. Phat completed a coding bootcamp in 2018 and before that graduated from Brunel University with a BSc in Product Design Engineering. Phat’s knowledge in React allows him to code with design in mind so that he can create interfaces for users to both enjoy and access efficiently.

Rob is a Senior Software Engineer at Curation. Formally Rob was an Engineering Lead at Lloyds Banking Group working in mortgages. Rob specialises in web engineering and performance, he has also authored many open source software projects. Rob graduated with a first in Computer Science from the University of Portsmouth.

Sammy is part of the energy team where he is an Energy Curator, specialising in the democratisation of the transition to a low-carbon economy. Sammy has an MSc in Sustainable Energy from the University of Glasgow. He previously held positions with Van Oord, working first as a Technical Trainee – which included project placements in the Netherlands and Senegal – and then as a Cost Estimator, where he worked on tenders including wind turbine and foundation installations and coral habitat rehabilitation works.

Sara is Curation’s Sustainability Editor. Sara joined Curation in 2018, and initially worked as a Curator covering subjects relating to corporate governance and accountability, as well as diversity and inclusion, global inequalities, and access to peace and justice. Before her time at Curation, Sara worked as a freelance writer and editor for various publications in Asia, Australia and the UK. Sara graduated from Queen Mary, University of London with First Class Honours in English and History, where her research focused on modern narratives of migration, and representations of global cultures.

Tereza is an Energy Curator and part of the energy team at Curation. She mainly covers future mobility topics – such as electric and autonomous vehicles – as well as India’s renewable energy transition. Tereza compiles a weekly briefing on low-carbon energy in India, and coordinates Curation’s briefing on smart cities, which is written by several members of Curation’s energy and sustainability teams. Tereza has been covering energy at Curation for over two years, drawing on her Master’s degree in Energy from Sciences Po Paris.
