“I am really excited to welcome Mike to Curation,” said Curation Corp Founder Nick Finegold. “His extensive knowledge of so many new technologies and industries will help us massively in our mission to create value for individuals, organisations and investors alike.”

Curation Corp’s 2020 reported revenues were up +167% year-over-year, with new clients including Biogen, DeepMind and Standard Chartered. Additionally, over 100 elective professionals signed up to the Fat Gladiator Investment Club. Together, the two companies look forward to growing and scaling with Townend as a guiding force in this endeavour.

As Townend states, “I am excited to be joining the Curation team, the group’s expertise in sustainability and thematic investing is significant, providing an excellent platform for future growth. I’m fortunate to work with many innovative technologies and inspirational entrepreneurs at IP Group, and I look forward in bringing this experience to support Nick, Sandy (Curation’s CEO) and the team on their exciting journey.”

Townend’s relationships with family offices and thematic investors will be helpful in delivering sustainability intelligence and education to a broader audience and further enriching the collective intelligence of the investment club. In addition, his knowledge of working with top-tier academic institutions is useful as Curation rolls out new academia-focused products.
